Got Flesh! Prosthetic transfers are fast, simple to use prosthetics. They are perfect for all level makeup artists and are easily blended and painted to create your desired bullet wound effect.
How to
apply:
1) Pick the edges off the
prosthetic carefully.
2) Map out where exactly the prosthetic is to go - using a llight coloured make up pencil to outline the position
3) Apply a thin layer of
prosaide and allow to dry until tacky.
4) Put the water
slide transfer paper onto the prosthetic.
5) Now that the water slide transfer paper is applied it is a good idea to map out on the paper where the prosthetic is. Hold it up to the light and gently draw out the shape of the prosthetic using a pencil.
6) Dampen your sponge with
cold water, squeezing out any excess water to avoid over saturating the
transfer paper. Then applying gentle pressure, begin to press the
prosthetic onto the skin. Once you are happy that the transfer paper has had
enough water to ensure the prosthetic sticks to the skin you can then peel the
transfer paper off.
7) Using IPA and a cotton
bud, blend out any edges.
8) Powder the prosthetic using translucent powder.
9) The prosthetic is now ready to paint using water, creme or alcohol based paints and any bloods, scab material that might add to the realism of the injury.
10) Using a proprietary sealer will prolong the longevity of the prosthetic.
Removal
- To remove the prosthetic use an oil based remover like Pro-Clean. Avoid using IPA as the
prosthetic will turn to a tacky texture and will be more difficult to remove.
