The Grimas Monkey Face prosthetic is a flesh coloured foam latex prosthetic which covers the nose and surrounding area, for a monkey effect. This prosthetic piece can be applied using Grimas Spirit Gum and removed using Grimas Spirit Gum Remover. If the piece is cleaned carefully with spirit gum remover after removal from the skin, it may be reused. This Grimas prosthetic is made from foam latex, which is a foamy mixture of latex and other chemicals, which is then moulded and baked. It results in a more natural-looking finish than a regular latex prosthetic as it moves with the skin. It can be painted in using alcohol-activated paints or Rubber Mask Grease paints.
