JAR FX Paxipaint is a professional-use, acrylic water-based pax paint, developed and made in Ireland for film and TV makeup artists. Pax paint is a recognised category within special effects makeup, long used for tattoo cover-up and prosthetic painting thanks to its durable, waterproof finish. Combining paint with Prosaide No-Tack adhesive, Paxi Paint dries smudge-proof, water-resistant and sweat-resistant — ideal for outdoor shoots and long days on set.

Available in 14 shades (Base 1–3 and Skin 0–10), Paxi Paint is designed for full tattoo coverage and concealing bald cap edges so hair doesn't show through. Shake well and apply in light layers, letting each dry before the next. Use the base shades to neutralise darker tattoo pigments, then layer skin tones over the top for a seamless match. Apply with a sponge, brush, or chip/laminating brush for textured spatter effects, or thin with water for airbrush use (clean your airbrush thoroughly after each session). Remove with an oil-based remover such as Pro-Clean — for larger areas, leave the remover on for a couple of minutes. For more stubborn coverage, apply RCMA Adklen, cover with clingfilm and leave to "marinade" before removing.

Each 30ml bottle comes in a small packaging bag with an instruction sheet included. Always patch test on sensitive skin; not suitable for broken or irritated skin or near the eyes, and shave the application area beforehand.
