Allied FX (Bluebird Inks) On Location Filthy is a professional, alcohol-based liquid dirt makeup designed for film, TV and theatrical work where dirt needs to survive the shoot. It's the longest-lasting dirt makeup on the market — durable enough to withstand handwashing without lifting — and it also grips powdered dirts and dust to the skin for extra realism.

Filthy offers sheer, buildable coverage with a slow dry time, giving artists room to be creative: drip it, wash it out, or stipple and roll it just before it sets to create soft, dimensional caked-on dirt textures.

Available in four translucent shades — Oily (darkest, black with yellow undertones), Muddy (red-brown), Grime (true taupe) and Gravel (lightest, soft grey) — shades can be layered together for realistic depth and variation.

How to use: Shake well before use to remix any settled sediment. Spray onto a brush or sponge and stipple onto skin to create a "sweaty dirt" effect. Allow to semi-dry, then work into textures resembling caked-on dirt. Layer additional product and colours for realism. Can be mixed with alcohol-activated paints for extra colour effects, and reactivated with 99% isopropyl alcohol if you need to move it around. Avoid spraying directly around the eyes or nose.
