Try all 14 shades before you commit to the bigger sizes. Made in Ireland by a working film MUA.
The JAR FX
Paxipaint Sample Set (14) is the easiest way to get to know the full Paxipaint
shade range. It includes all 14 shades —
Base 1–3 and Skin 0–10 — giving you everything needed to test colour matches
across different skin tones and tattoo pigments.
Paxipaint is a
professional acrylic water-based pax paint, made in Ireland, trusted in film
and TV for its long wear on tattoo cover-ups and prosthetic work. Once dry,
it's smudge-proof, water-resistant and sweat-resistant, holding up over long
shoot days.
Try each shade
in thin layers using a sponge, brush, or chip/laminating brush, or thin with
water for airbrush testing. Start with a base shade to knock back strong tattoo
colours, then build skin tones over the top to find your match. Test patches
lift off easily with Pro-Clean or another oil-based remover.
A solid
starting point for anyone new to pax paints, or for artists wanting to expand
their shade range on set.
Always patch
test on sensitive skin; not suitable for broken or irritated skin or near the
eyes.
