Are your hands feeling the effects of all the handwashing? These soaps are much gentler on the skin - they are Castile formulas (based on vegetable oils) rather than the standard liquid soaps that strip the moisture from the skin. They still have all the effective disinfection and cleansing of a regular soap - more so, in fact, with the addition of the unique essential oil blends.

These are concentrated - a little goes a very long way and you can dilute them into a different bottle (at least 50:50 or even more diluted) to make them last further, without diluting the effects. They are suitable for washing hands, suitable for little hands, and they also double-up as a great multi-surface cleanser (you could dilute them down by using just 1 teaspoon in a pint of water mixed well in an empty spray bottle. Or for extra disinfection, you could mix 1 teaspoon of soap, 350 ml water and 75ml IPA/Rubbing Alcohol for an even stronger surface cleaner). Why bother? Because they contain no harmful or toxic ingredients, yet still keep everything clean, and they smell great. Plus, they are far more economical than ready-made surface cleansers, if used correctly.

The Castile formula consists of coconut oil, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, sunflower oils and a blend of essential oils

• Citrus Blossom contains essential oils of orange, lemon and lime
• Mint Melody contains essential oils of peppermint, spearmint, and rosemary
• Thieves is the signature scent, and contains cinnamon, clove, lemon, rosemary and eucalyptus. Thieves is so-named because during the bubonic plague, thieves who used to steal herbs reportedly had a better survival rate than the general public. These are the herbs they used to steal.
