This Encapsulated Silicone Prosthetic from Baburka Cinema Craft is designed to capture a ruptured wound in the spine. Made in Light Flesh colour, it is applied to the skin with Prosaide, powdered and dressed with bloods or other injury material.
To use: Firstly remove any grease from the prosthetic with soapy water, cleanse the skin with Isopropyl alcohol and apply a skin barrier such as Dermashield to protect the skin. Apply ProsAide glue to the skin and dry it with a hairdryer, and then carefully apply the prosthetic, making sure to remove any air bubbles. Dissolve the edges of the prosthetic with Acetone to blend it into the skin, and apply more Prosaide or Bondo to fill in any tears or edges. It can then be painted up with Alcohol-activated paints and runny and/or congealed bloods can be applied.
To remove, carefully peel off the piece and then dab the skin with Telesis Super Solv Plus or Proclean to remove all traces of glue and other products. The silicone piece itself is a one-use piece.
