In this week's guest blog, we have professional make-up artist Nichola Graham chatting about some of her favourite products in Sunaura!

Nichola is an accomplished make-up artist with over seventeen years experience in the high-end make-up industry. She specialises in bridal and airbrush make-up, and has worked with many different brands and leading photographers and directors. Some of her portfolio of work includes work for Oxfam, Coors Light, Bord Gas, Diek Coke, Vodafone, TV3 and more. Most recently she has written her first book which is an essential bible for the make-up industry in the UK and Ireland! Called Ur Makeup Industry, it's already a massive hit amongst professional make-up artists, amateurs and enthusiasts alike!

BEN NYE LUXURY POWDERS

I really love the Ben Nye powders and two I always carry in my professional kit are the banana and rose petal powders. They don't sit on the skin and go into fine lines like some powders.

Banana Powder - This is the original banana powder and still the best! It works beautifully on olive skin tones.

Rose Petal Powder - This powder is so pretty and perfect for us pale Irish girls!

RCMA TRANSLUCENT POWDER

I don't think I know any pro makeup artist that doesn't love RCMA products. This powder is fantastic and works on so many skin tones. I also love the shaker pot which means I can easily decant it onto a powder puff or into a palette.

KRYOLAN INVISIBLE MATT plus SPF

As an airbrush artist it's a real struggle to find a mattifying product that works well under airbrush products and also with regular liquid or cream foundations. Thankfully this product works like magic! Most mattifying products are overly drying and make it almost impossible to apply foundation on top of without some sort of cracking in the makeup. This Kryolan Invisible Matt does't do that. It feels beautiful on the skin, like a moisturiser. I love to apply it on the t-zone to help combat excess shine with so many of my clients.

MAQPRO MAKEUP MIXER

The most genius product ever! This is amazing for thinning out foundations - liquid or cream! It's also fab for turning lipsticks into lip tints and loose pigments into liquid colour! This is such a must have for any professional makeup kit.

KRYOLAN AIRSTREAM MAKEUP

I've been airbrushing makeup for almost 10 years now and I've tried just about every single airbrush product on the market. I absolutely love the Kryolan airbrush makeup range! I really love that they offer oil free matt, silicone and waterproof ranges. I can't imagine changing from this brand. The colour range available is huge and the matt airstream range looks so beautiful on.

SUNAURA MAKEUP BRUSHES

I love all of the Sunaura brushes but definitely have two faves! Firstly Sunaura's Badgerlon Firm Liner which is amazing for applying cream or gel eyeliners! I don't think I've ever used a brush that is so fine ensuring that a flick of liner is seriously precise!

I also love the Sunaura Fluffy Blending Brush which is very similar to a well known MAC brush! It blends eye shadow out beautifully in the crease of the eye.

KRYOLAN CREAM LINERS

Can you tell I am a big Kryolan fan? I love these liners. They don't need any kind of mixing liquid to use because they go on so so creamy and they don't dry out in the pot! A huge plus! I love the shades Ebony which is a really strong black and also Cacao which is a stunning chocolate brown perfect for clients with fairer lashes.

That's all from Nichola this week, but do check out her official site: www.ur-makeup.com, and also her new book, available here at Sunaura!
